Day 1
Ngorongoro Farm House, Karatu
Day Itinerary
Leave Arusha at 0700AM and drive to NGORONGORO CRATER gate (2hours drive) – Descend into the worlds largest intact volcanic caldera, the Ngorongoro crater, often referred to as the “Eighth wonder of the World” Marvel at the sheer magnitude of this geological masterpiece, which harbours an astonishing concentration of wildlife withink its walls. You will enjoy your picnic lunch at the hippo pool and continue on with some game viewing. Around 4pm you will start your steep scent back to the crater rim and drive to your lodge. Overnight in Ngorongoro.
Day 2
Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge, Lake Manyara National Park
Day Itinerary
After your breakfast, you will hop into your jeep and drive to Lake Manyara Park. Lake Manyara National Park is a picturesque wildlife reserve located in northern Tanzania, at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. It is renowned for its diverse ecosystems and stunning scenery, ranging from the alkaline lake itself to lush groundwater forests and open savannahs. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, a unique behavior exhibited by a few prides in the area. Visitors to Lake Manyara can enjoy game drives to spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, and numerous bird species such as flamingos, pelicans, and storks. Enjoy your picnic lunch at the park and there after drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight in Lake Manyara.
